Who is Nigeria's Greatest Goalkeeper Of All Time?

Image
The older generation who saw some of Nigeria's best Goalkeepers in action would tell you there’s no goalkeeper today that can match the ability of these goalkeepers. Is God A Partial God?

Image
In Romans 9 vs 16, the Bible says: "So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy". This part of the scripture has been a genesis of so many arguments as many believed God is selective of whom to show mercy to.  Many believed that God shows this in the case of Jacob and Esau. Some also believed that Peter was showed mercy but Judas was doomed to die. Little wonders why someone will commit a particular sin, will go scot free but someone else that commit that same sin might die. Many have argued that everyone will not receive the mercy of God, they believed that some people are doomed to perish no matter how many years they spent on the earth, this set of people believed God spares only those he wishes to and destroys others. Wait a minute, Is God really partial? My Opinion: God is not partial, there is something call GRACE. It is available for all those who seek it. Every human is doomed to perish, it i...

Money or Happiness?

James (not real name) graduated school at the top of his year. He attended a top science university, Graduated with a 2.1 in pure theoretical Physics (90% of his class came away with a 2.2 or a 3, no one got a 1). His job now. He washes pots and pans for a large kitchen in Ikoyi.  To most people, he is doing nothing worthwhile. But to him, he is happy and fulfilled. He sees what he is doing as worthwhile in his life. We have read so many articles about being happy and being successful, I quote from. One article I read: "Worth is what we define it as. For some people worth is riches and land; for others it is changing the world. We should not force our expectations on others, but instead we should allow them to find worth in their own way". In Nigeria, everyone expects you to be successful (become rich) especially if you are a University graduate. But then,  “When one spends their life becoming what others want,   there is great hazard of losin...

As a Nigerian, How Have You Been Affected By The Infamy of the Nigerian Prince Scam Email?

Image
A Nigerian, Nneka Otika share her story while asking if you have ever experienced anything like this. Her story below: Gosh, where do I begin?! In 2014, I registered on  Freelancer - Hire & Find Jobs  to get jobs as a content writer. You'd have to put your location and mine was Nigeria. Oh boy! I didn't get any jobs for nearly two months even though I worked on each bid well. One of the people who was looking for a freelancer, an Indian, said he liked my bid and samples but he can't hire a Nigerian. That Nigerians aren't trustworthy. Another client also said the same thing. This one was from the US. I did eventually get hired by an Ivorian web developer who lived in India. Another very jarring experience was being called a scammer and whore by a Pakistani user who wanted me to work outside the platform and I refused. I guess he was deeply disturbed. And I promptly reported him. As a Nigerian, you don't get the benefit of doubt from any...
